As a result, the long-term benefits from riparian corridor enhancement and stable improvements would be beneficial, and despite the slight increase in the short term adverse impacts associated with consolidating stable operations, the long-term beneficial cumulative impacts are greatest under this alternative.

The incorporation of Best Management Practices during all construction, routine management, operations and maintenance activities associated with this alternative would protect water quality and the natural resources adjacent to equestrian facilities. Any localized minor adverse impacts to water quality as a result of facility upgrade and enhancement activities would be temporary, but would result in long-term localized beneficial impacts. No impairment of park resources or values is anticipated under this alternative.
